Mrs. Li is a co-founder of YSL & Associates. She worked for a Manhattan based certified public accounting firm – Citrin Cooperman & Co. LLP (AKA Margold Ersken & Wang LLP) before she joined YSL & Associates. She also worked as an assistant controller for a large private investment firm – Chazen Capital LLC. She has total of more than 20 years experiences in the accounting and auditing profession.
Her areas of expertise are accounting and auditing for real estate (commercial & residential), manufacturing, hedge funds, and professional services clients. She has also provided consulting services, such as assisting clients on implementing internal controls, budgeting, as well as assisted business and individual clients with cash flow analysis, income projection and financial planning. She is also expert at providing tax consulting services for small business, professional service firm (such as doctor and attorney’s office) and high net worth individuals.
Charles Yi, CPA, MBA
Managing Director
Mr. Yi started his career with Deloitte & Touche, CPAs as a tax professional specialized on international taxation, mainly providing tax services for fortune 500 corporations. After departing from D&T, he joined PKF and Marks Paneth & Shron, CPAs, providing tax consulting, tax research and tax planning services for large real estate, manufacturing, venture capital and hedge fund firms as well as high net worth individuals. He has over 20 years experiences in public accounting.
His areas of expertise are international tax, hedge funds/investment partnership and tax planning for high net worth individuals. He assists foreign clients conducting business and investing in the United States as well as helping US firms in compliance with complicated tax laws when doing business in foreign countries. His comprehensive knowledge of U.S. tax laws and Income Tax Treaties with foreign countries ensures that foreign investors operate in the U.S. in a tax efficient manner and comply with the complex U.S. tax rules.
In addition to his expertise on tax, Mr. Yi was also experienced on providing audit and accounting services to non-profit, real estate and governmental organizations.
